Long Island City (LIC) is an area rich with history. In fact, the very building that now houses creative studio space, The Cigar Factory, was once an actual cigar manufacturer in the 19th Century. Our goal behind renovating this historical building into LIC creative office space was to provide 21st Century service and amenities while still paying homage to the history behind the building and the surrounding area.
First impressions are everything. That’s why we started with the outside and worked our way in. The brand new entrance to The Cigar Factory has a Citi Bike station right outside the front doors for those who prefer cycling to work. Alternatively, you can ride your own bike to work and keep it safe in our secure bike storage room. Before heading off to work for the day, stow your gear and use the locker and shower facilities located conveniently on the ground floor. Parking options are also available for commuters who prefer driving to work.
The brand new lobby of our Long Island City creative office space — decorated with photographs depicting both historic and modern day LIC — was carefully curated and designed with beauty and efficiency in mind. Top-of-the-line passenger elevators will take you to 4 floors of 1,037-11,000 RSF move-in ready suites with new electrical wiring, 12’+ ceilings, and a private landscaped tenant courtyard. All designed with the creative professionals of LIC in mind.
